Homebound Delivery Schedule

Delivery is scheduled for the first Saturday of the month except for holiday weekends.

The library offers delivery services to WPLD cardholders who are unable to visit the library temporarily or permanently due to illness, disability or mobility limitations. Participants may receive up to 20 items, such as books, audiobooks or movies, per delivery. Items can be selected by the cardholder via hold or purchase suggestion through the library catalog, or request that staff pick items for them based on their preferences. Deliveries take place on the first Saturday of every month, except for holiday weekends. 

The following library materials are available through Homebound Delivery:

  • Books, including Large Print
  • DVDs
  • Music CDs
  • Books on CD
  • Playaways
  • Memory Care items

Before each delivery, a staff member will call you to confirm that you will be home during the delivery window. Did we miss you? If so, staff will reach out and attempt a second delivery in the following week before items are deferred to the next month.
