Free Passes to Illinois Museums and Cultural Attractions

Your Warrenville Public Library District library card gives you access to more than just books! Through the Museum Adventure Pass and the Explore More Illinois programs, your card unlocks free or discounted admission to many museums, zoos and other cultural attractions such as Brookfield Zoo, Cantigny Park, Chicago Botanic Garden, Naper Settlement and Volo Museum.

Review the information below for obtaining passes or making reservations.

Museum Adventure Pass

Passes are available in person at the library with your WPLD library card—limit of one pass per household per 7 days.

  1. Check the library’s Museum Adventure Pass webpage or call the library to confirm pass availability. Passes are available on a first come, first served basis. No holds or reservations.
  2. Request a pass at the Member Services Desk.
  3. Bring your issued pass, photo identification and your library card with you to the participating museum. Passes are valid for one-time use and expire after one week.

Explore More Illinois

Passes and offers are available for online reservation by members ages 18 and older—limit three active reservations per card.

  1. Visit the Explore More Illinois website, select Warrenville Public Library District and enter your library card number and PIN (last four digits of your phone number) to access a list of participating museums and attractions.
  2. After choosing an attraction, open the offers tab and select an offer to begin the reservation process.
  3. Review all details and choose a date before making a reservation.
  4. You will receive a download link in an email and can redeem your offer at the chosen location on your mobile device or with a printout unless otherwise specified. Once a pass is printed or downloaded, it cannot be canceled and will count towards your limit of three active reservations.
