Young readers can practice reading aloud to a certified therapy dog in 15-minute sessions.
Our therapy dog for these sessions is Marlie! Marlie's owner is bilingual and would be happy to support early readers in both English and Spanish.
To register for a 15-minute session, visit the Youth Services Desk, call 630/393-1171 x124 or email youthservices@warrenville.com.
The Warrenville Public Library District was established in 1979 to provide library services to the residents of Warrenville and nearby unincorporated areas. The District operates out of a single facility located at 28W751 Stafford Place, Warrenville, IL.
Through warrenville.com, 24/7 services include digital content availability, database use, event registration and the ability to place books and other items on hold through the catalog.
In 2020, WPLD joined the SWAN Library Services consortium, making over 8,000,000 items available to our members.
WPLD members and guests have access to many amenities: Study and Meeting Rooms, Quiet Room with fireplace, casual seating areas, Discovery Room for children, Teen Lounge, cold beverage vending café, free wifi and computers.
The library is located in the heart of Warrenville’s civic center near the intersection of Batavia and Butterfield Roads. Additional parking and a second entrance are available off of Mount St. and Manning Avenue.
