Join us for the unveiling of a Warhol-style art mural which will be on display throughout the summer. The mural features four famous past and present Warrenville residents.
From June 3 through September 10, the McAninch Arts Center and the Cleve Carney Museum of Art at the College of DuPage will present “Andy Warhol Portfolios: A Life in Pop,” an exhibition featuring 94 works on loan from Bank of America’s Art in the Community collection. As part of the DuPage Warhol Public Pop Art Challenge this summer, four famous Warrenville residents will be popified and put on display in a mural at the library.
Join us on June 3 for the unveiling of this art exhibit which will include a visit from one of the Warrenville residents featured in the mural. Light refreshments will be served. The unveiling will take place outside the library on Stafford Place. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the library's Meeting Room.
The mural will remain on display throughout the summer.
This is a collaborative effort with the College of DuPage, the City of Warrenville, the Warrenville Historical Society and the Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce.

The Warrenville Public Library District was established in 1979 to provide library services to the residents of Warrenville and nearby unincorporated areas. The District operates out of a single facility located at 28W751 Stafford Place, Warrenville, IL.

In 2020, WPLD joined the SWAN Library Services consortium, making over 8,000,000 items available to our members.
WPLD members and guests have access to many amenities: Study and Meeting Rooms, Quiet Room with fireplace, casual seating areas, Discovery Room for children, Teen Lounge, cold beverage vending café, free wifi and computers.
The library is located in the heart of Warrenville’s civic center near the intersection of Batavia and Butterfield Roads. Additional parking and a second entrance are available off of Mount St. and Manning Avenue.
