Monetary gifts can be made directly to the Library and will be used to purchase materials or equipment, support Library programs or in other ways that the Board deems appropriate. Make an online gift or memorial donation. Print a commemorative donation form.
Donations of books, DVDs and CDs are accepted with the understanding that these materials may be sold, donated or otherwise disposed of at the Library’s discretion. Donated materials that are in good condition are usually sold at the Library’s used book sale, located in the lower level lobby. Funds raised through the book sale are used for general operating costs.
Donations of gently used mobile devices including tablets, mp3 players, eReaders, iPods and smartphones, are accepted at our Circulation Desk when accompanied by a completed mobile device donation form. Print a mobile devices donation form.
A community paperback exchange is located near the Circulation Desk. Works of popular fiction authors may be borrowed and returned at your convenience. The library accepts donated fiction paperbacks to be added to the Paperback Exchange.
Shop at the Book Sale
Shoppers will find a variety of items in the ongoing book sale in the lower level lobby. Items for sale include hardcover and paperback books, videos, computer software, and audio books. Hardcover books for adults cost just $1. All children's books are 25 cents each. A variety of fiction and nonfiction titles are available. Proceeds from the sales are returned to the Library's general fund to be used for materials, programs, and services.
