Summer Reading Program for Adults, Teens & Youth
June 1 - July 31
The Summer Reading Program begins June 1 at the Warrenville Public Library. Participants of all ages are eligible for great prizes.
Adult Summer Reading Program
Ages 18 and up
Water Your Mind, Read!
Participants must read or listen to five books from the Library between June 1 and July 31 and submit their reading log to receive a free gift. Warrenville Library cardholders also earn a prize drawing entry for each completed log. Completion of additional reading logs earns added entries in the prize drawing, but no other free gifts. The prizes in the drawing include a $100 gift card to a local garden center, a $50 gift card for the Morton Arboretum and a $25 gift card for Cantigny Park. Registration will be taken at the Adult Services Desk.
Summer Readers are also eligible to participate in the monthly Reader Recommendations prize drawing. Entrants must submit a recommendation for a book from the Library’s collection. More than one recommendation may be completed. Winners of the drawing will receive a $20 gift card to a local garden center.
Teen Summer Reading Program
Ages 13 – 17
Make Waves at Your Library!
First day to return book logs is June 14.
Last day to return book logs is July 31.
Teens can win prizes for reading a minimum of 6 hours this Summer. Teens can fill out an entry form for each book log they bring in. Staff will pull a Weekly Prize Winner from the entry forms. Register for the Summer Reading Program at the Youth Services Desk beginning June 1.
Youth Summer Reading Program
Ages 2 – 12
Make a Splash, Read!
First day to return book logs is June 14.
Last day to return book logs is July 31.
Children will receive prizes for reading a minimum of 6 hours this Summer. After reading the first 6 hours, children will receive a bag of goodies. Children can earn more prizes and entries to the Weekly Prize Drawings by reading an additional 6 hours. Register for the Summer Reading Program at the Youth Services Desk beginning June 1.
