Take and Make Crafts
Fridays, June 12 – July 31, Ages 6 and up 
We make the craft packets; you get to take them home to finish your creation. The crafts will include instructions and items such as beads, pipe cleaners, foam stickers, lacing string and feathers. Drop in anytime during Library hours on Friday and pick up your craft packet. Available while supplies last.


Snap Circuits
Wednesdays, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Ages 7 – 12

Lego fans will love Snap Circuits, a colorful new building set that lets kids safely and easily experiment with electricity. From building simple machines like an electric light to more complex projects like a motion detector or an AM radio, the Snap Circuits program will strengthen basic physics concepts for your young engineer in a creative, hands-on environment. Lego Days
Wednesdays, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Ages 7 – 12
June 24, July 22
In June, use our Legos to build a musical instrument. Try making a guitar, piano, xylophone or clarinet. In July, our Lego theme will be Cars and Trucks and Things That Go! Whatever you build, have fun using your imagination. Registration is required. Click here to register.

Paws for Tales
Thursdays, 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Young readers in Kindergarten through second grade have fun and build confidence by reading aloud to a certified dog in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. Sign up for a 15-minute session with a certified dog and volunteer team from the Naperville Area Humane Society. NAHS supplies the books, which contain positive themes such as kindness, empathy and compassion. Children also receive bookmarks, stickers and coloring sheets from the dog. Harry Potter Birthday Party
Friday, July 31, 4 – 6 p.m., Ages 9 - 15
July 31 is the most magical day of the year at the Warrenville Public Library as we celebrate the birthday of everyone’s favorite boy wizard. Wear the colors of your favorite House to show your Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Gryffindor pride, and come join us for Harry Potter-themed games, crafts and treats. Get Ready for Kindergarten
Thursday, August 6, 10 – 11 a.m.
Age 5 or entering Kindergarten in the Fall

Toddler Time
Thursdays, June 4– July 30, 10 a.m.
Children ages 18-36 months enjoy singing, dancing, stories, finger plays and playtime.


Swingin’ Storytime
Mondays, June 15– July 27, 6:30 p.m.
Swing, sway, jump and dance to the beat of stories with a blend of rhythm and songs. All ages welcome.


Family Storytimes in the Park
Tuesdays, June 16 – July 28, 10 a.m.
Join the Library staff for stories at Cerny Park. Drop in for stories, rhymes, songs and finger plays. If there is inclement weather, storytime will be cancelled. All ages are welcome to attend.  

Saturday Fun

Donuts with your Munchkins
Saturday, June 13, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Ages 3 – 8
Celebrate Father’s Day early with your favorite guy. Listen to a story, make a craft and enjoy some sweet treats. There will be an opportunity to take pictures. Please register each person in your group, including “dad.”  Registration is required. Click here to register.


Frozen Beach Party
Saturday, July 18, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Ages 3 – 8
See what Elsa and Anna do during a Beach Party. Listen to a story, make a craft and dance to some beach tunes. Come dressed in your favorite Frozen shirt or costume. There will be an opportunity for taking pictures. Registration is required. Click here to register.  


Superhero Training Camp
