Library Card Sign-Up Month Celebrated in September
“What’s cooler than being cool? Having a library card!” September is National Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the American Library Association and libraries across the country remind residents of the importance of having a library card. This year, Snoopy, a.k.a. “Joe Cool,” serves as the Library Honorary Chair.
Today’s libraries aren’t only a place of quiet study, but also creative and engaging community centers. Visit the Library and see all it has to offer you! Browse a wide array of books, movies and music. Discover new technology by checking out one of our many mobile devices, including Kindles, media converters and movie streaming devices. Attend one of our many educational programs or drop in for Family Storytimes.
In September, visit the Library and get caught being cool by snapping a picture with Snoopy and friends. Warrenville residents who register for a new library card during the month of September will receive a small gift. For further details on Library services or how to sign up for a Library card, visit the Library in person or call 630/393-1171 x101.
