Main Entrance Closed, Use Lower Level Entrance
The Library's main entrance closed on January 24 for Phase 2 construction. The entrance will remain closed through mid-April. Please use the lower level parking and entrance at the back of the Library (Manning Ave.). During this phase of construction, public restrooms are located on the lower level.

Renovation Update (3/2/17)
We are almost half-way through Phase 2 construction. Crews are completing electrical, framing and drywall installation in the meeting room, teen room and children’s area. Tile is being installed in the restrooms. Electricians are adding outlets and data ports plus working overhead to prepare for new light fixtures and window shades. Ductwork and overhead equipment for heating and air conditioning is being modified for the new layout. The fireplace “box” is in place. A new steel beam was installed in the meeting room to support a partition wall that will allow us to divide the room into two smaller rooms. We look forward to the delivery of two new information desks, the angled wall for the teen room and the exciting new gateway to the children’s area. Demolition is complete, but some aspects of construction still require the use of equipment that can be noisy and create dust. We cannot say thank you enough for your continued patience and understanding. We are looking forward to sharing the finished spaces with you in June! Please remember that Library staff are here to assist you from two service desks, the Check Out Desk and the Information Desk. Please ask if you need help. View pictures of the progress at http://bit.ly/wpldrenovatepics. Safety is our top priority during construction. We ask all visitors to comply with posted notices. We will work closely with the construction team to ensure any service disruptions are limited.
