Spring Events at WPLD (March–May)

We’re a few weeks away from actual signs of spring, but registration is now open for WPLD events in March, April and May through our calendar.

The latest edition of our Reading Matters guide is jam packed. Fox Valley Wildlife Center is returning to WPLD with their ambassador animals and Goldfish Swim School instructors will be here to share water-safety tips. We’re also starting two new book clubs, one for adults at Two Brothers Tap House and the other for 8–12 year olds.

In addition to our popular Tech Talks and adult crafting, we’re hosting an after-hours trivia night, information sessions on medical cannabis and zero waste living, and many historical programs. Teens will have a great time at our new Anime Club, exam cram de-stress nights and other popular Teen Lounge events. There are Storytimes and STEAM events for the kids along with a Dr. Seuss reading celebration and a Toy Story 4 interactive movie viewing.

The 2020 Census is coming soon! We have a few Census events at the Library to  provide information and assistance with completing your form.

Register now for spring events through our calendar.
