MINUTES OF BUDGET & APPROPRIATION PUBLIC HEARING

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2007 - 7:00 p.m.

ATTENDING: Trustees Arlowe, Brown, Clark, DuRocher, Johnston and Stull

ABSENT: Trustee Goodman

ALSO ATTENDING: Director Sandra Whitmer, Administrative Assistant Jackie Davis, Department Heads Joe Filapek, Leila Heath, Barb Heilenbach and Sue Larson

1. Call to order – Trustee Clark called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

MOTION: Trustee Arlowe moved to enter into the Budget & Appropriation Public Hearing. Trustee Stull seconded. Voice vote: all ayes. Motion carried. (Trustee Goodman absent)

2. Public comments on the Budget & Appropriation Ordinance – none

3. Trustee Comments on the Budget & Appropriation Ordinance

Trustee Johnston asked if the ordinance appropriated funds for a potential property purchase. Director Whitmer stated that special reserve funds and developer donations could be used for this purpose.

MOTION: Trustee Arlowe moved to exit the Budget & Appropriation Public Hearing. Trustee DuRocher seconded. Voice vote – all ayes.

4. Adjournment

MOTION: Trustee Johnston moved to adjourn the Budget & Appropriation Public Hearing at 7:10 p.m. Trustee Arlowe seconded. Voice vote – all ayes. Motion carried. (Trustee Goodman absent)
