Minutes of the Special Meeting of the
Wednesday, March 12, 2008, 6:00 p.m.
1. Call to order – President Goodman called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m.
2. Roll Call
Attending: Trustees Arlowe, DuRocher, Goodman, Johnston, and Stull
Absent: Trustee Clark
Also Attending: Director Whitmer
3. Approval of the agenda (ACTION)
MOTION: Trustee Arlowe moved to approve the
agenda. Trustee DuRocher seconded. Roll
call vote: Trustee Johnston –aye; Trustee DuRocher –aye; Trustee Arlowe –aye;
Trustee Stull –aye; Trustee Goodman –aye. Motion carried. (Trustee
Clark absent.)
4. Public comments – none
Director Whitmer exited the meeting at 6:06 p.m.
5. Closed session
MOTION: Trustee Arlowe
moved to enter closed session as allowed by 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(3) for the purpose
of “The selection of a person to fill a public
office, as defined in this Act, including a vacancy in a public office, when
the public body is given power to appoint under law or ordinance, or the
discipline, performance or removal of the occupant of a public office, when the
public body is given power to remove the occupant under law or ordinance.” Trustee
DuRocher seconded. Roll call vote: Trustee Stull –aye; Trustee Arlowe –aye;
Trustee DuRocher –aye; Trustee Johnston –aye; Trustee Goodman –aye. Motion carried. (Trustee Clark absent)
Returned to regular session at 7:52 p.m. Members present: Trustees Arlowe, DuRocher, Goodman, Johnston, and Stull. Also present: Director Whitmer

8. Adjournment
MOTION: Trustee
DuRocher moved to adjourn the special board meeting at 7:52 p.m. Trustee Arlowe seconded. Voice vote – all ayes.
Motion carried.(Trustee Clark absent.)
