MINUTES

ATTENDING: Trustees Clark and Stull

ALSO ATTENDING: Director Whitmer

1. Call to order

The meeting began at 11:43 a.m.

2. Business of Meeting

a. Director’s Evaluation

The committee discussed the procedures for the upcoming evaluation of the library director.

Director Whitmer will prepare the appropriate forms and a self-evaluation for distribution at a closed session of the Board on March 21, 2007. The forms will be due back to the Personnel Committee on Monday, April 2, 2007.

Trustees Clark and Stull will collate the responses into two documents: Sense of the Board and Sense of the Department Heads.

In addition to a self-evaluation and summary of strategic plan goals, it was agreed that Director Whitmer should present a summary of any personal and professional goals that she personally set for herself when she was hired in January 2007. The self-evaluation and summary of goals will be shared only with the Board of Trustees. Only the summary of strategic plan and professional goals will be shared with the Department Heads.
